When someone dares to try to equate the ending of Battlestar Galactica with the last season of Game of Thrones...

Unpopular opinion that'll get me downvoted, but I disagree. Season 8 and the ending of GOT was fine to me. The ending of Battlestar Galactica left such a sour taste in my mouth that I can't bring myself to watch it knowing how it'll end. To me, the writing for BSG was way worse. The constant "The Cylons have a plan", but they didn't. The writers wrote from episode to episode not looking forward to how it ends. With GOT, they went off the already written book and George RR Martin told D&D how it's supposed to end and I thought it was fine. Could it have been better? Sure, but with George sitting on his ass, refusing to keep on writing his books made it a much harder job for D&D to wrap everything up. When BSG ended I had so many questions and thought the ending was stupid and it felt like a slap in the face. I never got that with GOT. I know I'll be rewatching GOT over and over for years but I'll probably only watch the Battlestar fight scenes on YouTube and leave it at that.
