When you talk to someone from YangGang

You don't win by disengaging from the other side. While you can't change Ben Shapiro mind ( he is too far gone) he has an audience with people whose only political stance is upsetting liberals. I promise you most conservatives don't care about tax cuts, Trump, or the debt. I anecdotally came to this conclusion from my own personal experience so take with a grain of salt. I'm from Georgia and I canvased for Jon Ossoff in Milton and Roswell. I became fb friends with some of the people I met door to door. Some of them were hard core conservatives that invited me in and tried to convince me to stop canvasing for a democrat, ha. Anyways I've been watching two of these individuals post Tucker Carlson's Yang interviews with titles like "finally a liberal telling the truth" and other such tag lines. It kind of made me think the real problem is that we ceded the airwaves to the conservatives and when presented with a liberal vision for this country voters will chose it. I think what makes UBI attractive to conservatives is it is an entitlement that isn't means tested so there is no racial or class system stigma associated with it. Anyways I think you have to risk looking like a fool if you want to expand the party b\c there is some 24% of people that watch fox news primarily and we are feeding into the political divide by shutting out appearances by prominent liberals on their mediums.
