I don’t think name recognition matters that much because whoever biden chooses for VP will receive significant media coverage anyways. Warren is polling high currently bc of name recognition but that doesn’t mean she’ll bring in the most black votes in the general, whereas a black VP will receive more media coverage over the course of the election cycle and may garner more support

Unlike the rest of the sub, I’ll (reluctantly) vote for Biden since I’m in a swing state, but I do hope that he chooses a black VP especially after his gaffes. Turning out the black vote in Detroit/Milwaukee/Philly will help Biden capture the states that Trump flipped last time.
