Okay, books on witchcraft (especially new-world witchcraft) will not help you. They may give you a rough idea of what it is and the history. Are you in South America now¿ because I’m sorry to break it to you, but you can’t find an authentic padrino(a) in Switzerland. Also, you can’t just force yourself into any magickal practices, it either comes, or doesn’t (I’m not trying to be a dick, but honestly I don’t think shamanism is right for you. The universe obviously is trying to lead you down a different path from what I’m hearing. It’s okay to be interested in it, but don’t expect it to work, you gotta’ find what works for you). I would suggest looking into practices from where you come from, That’s your best bet, imo.
