Who is excited to play the warriors of chaos and why? A little bit of a rant And just a general discussion on warriors of chaos units mechanics strategies etc)

Pros: Really cool heroes - I mean, Sigvald is a little bit fruity and not everyone elses taste but I absolutely love that about him as it makes him very unique. Archaon is, well....scary. The guy brought about the end of times in lore. There are other really cool heroes they could do for DLC though, such as Wulfrik the Wanderer (my personal fav).

They're really viking-like which suits my tastes entirely. This will probably translate very well into the Total War franchise as looting and pillaging is a very big part of both the warhammer world and total war series. They're probably as close to a 'Berserker' as you're going to get in Warhammer, and they have REALLY strong cavalry.

They'll have unique mechanics which I'm looking forward to, but we don't know how that'll work. Chaos corruption could either be really cool or a great idea gone to waste

Cons: Lack of siege is kind of lame honestly. I know of one legit siege unit and that's all (although it's a cool one - literally a chained up demon). In lore, Chaos had all kinds of ways to siege - usually just giant monsters clubbing at walls or smaller ones flying over them. Speaking of that, I can't wait to see some Pegasus units charge over walls and chew up some poor men.

I hear they'll have more of a Horde mechanic which to me is a big con. I hate the horde mechanic, but if they do it differently which I'm sure they will I'll give it a try.

All in all, I think they'll be quite interesting but they're not high on my list just because of how they'll translate to game mechanics. Personally? I'm really excited Bretonia :) that'll be a while, though.
