Who would you put on your ultimate all-history Lakers team?

This starting five could play in today's league and with a deadly ability for pick n' pops and pick and rolls (the current emphasis of today's league). So because of that I picked Jamal Wilkes whose famous midrange game would allow for sets that allows for creative play calls with multiple screeners, rollers, handoffs basically all the bells and whistles you see in the modern game. Also since there would be multiple ball handlers that would allow the offense to quickly start sets, or run a fast break (showtime). Magic is the best point guard of all time, his biggest problems though were shooting and defense (on small quick PG's) but this teams lockdown defender for guards would be Kobe. James worthy would take the Lebron's or Durant's meaning I would sub in Lamar to guard the 4's ( if the other team was like memphis). Kobe's play style could come in handy if plays broke down or you could throw it to KAJ whose sky hook would be unstoppable (even in today's league). The knock on KAJ is his post defense on bigs but given the fact that today's league is less physical and the bigs are less talented fundementally. SO I would take KAJ, who is a very mobile big that would still be able to score effectively and patrol the paint. I picked Odom because of his versatility, everyone forgets the uniqueness Lamar had as a 6 ft 10in player that could play down low (offense and defense) and bring up the ball up(often overlooked quality LO had); don't sleep on what he did for the Lakers during the second three peat his matchup was an absolute nightmare for the other team. I didn't pick Wilt because even though he was great at everything there are the lingering reports of his selfishness (Considering, that story where he would play less effectively at four fouls.), also I'd rather have the chemistry between KAJ and Magic (tried and tested). As for Worthy, I picked him because he would be a mobile, but undersized 4 , that could defend above his weight class and he'd be valuable on the hedge defense(once again keeping in mind today's league). Worthy's athleticism would also allow him to play on the wing and he would be the best candidate to bother Lebron that's why he is on the team... Prime Shaq would be amazing but he is terrible at shooting freethrows and hack-a-shaq would ensue. Baylor never played with a three point line and wouldn't fit the scheme I'd rather have Kobe and Wilkes on the wings, Baylor was an active rebounder ( 13.5 career avg) so he would fuck up the spacing and he would likely crash the boards rather then getting back on D (or attempting transition D). Also he only averaged 3.5 assists in his career so I don't think he would be a good third option since he will need the ball in his hands alot. But I must admit I've never watched him play so I don't know if he had a reliable jumpshot for spacing. Goodrich (6'1") and West(6'2") would find it hard to get shots over the newage like Westbrook (6'3") or Wall(6'3") and they also played the bulk of there careers with no three point line so I don't know much about there shooting. I know west had an amazing midrange game . But I'd find it hard to take guards spots away from magic and Kobe for undersized guards. Now for Pau. He is a great first option down low and an even better second option. His passing, shooting touch, and size would be great for nearly anyteam except one that values pace. So since I would use the showtime style of play, Pau would need to be used at Center since he is slower than KAJ. Something which would absolutely destroy this team defensively. So I would not pick Pau at the 4 or 5 for this bizarro world showtime team since defense is still needed.

In conclusion I built this team keeping the current era in mind. What first came to mind was the heat whose core weren't amazing beyond the arc but they were a really uptempo team that dominated because of the big threes ability to score and their elite athleticism on both ends. With the heat they brought in a bunch of shooters around the playmakers something I would also do. The spacing on this team would be a little wonky with Kobe and Odom being the only real threats outside of 18ft so it's hard to imagine running the triangle if we don't have the right personnel as starters. So I would choose Pat Riley to coach this team. Also I would fill the remaining roster with shooters like the heat did.
