This is true. The US is helping the Ukraine because they do not want the problems that would occur if Russia were to succeed. The US has a whole mess of problems it needs to work on, but it still keeps its eyes up, head on a swivel, scanning the horizon for potential threats. The Lakers front office should do the same.

I agree, it would be silly to tell the Lakers coaching staff + players to worry about advocating for a Sabonis suspension, just like it would be silly to tell your average american citizen to worry about international wartime diplomacy. But instead, what I am suggesting is that the Lakers front office make moves to protect their team, just how the US government is taking steps to protect their people.
