I do! That’s the whole point I’m trying to make. It’s borderline suicidal the way you guys will just walk out in front of traffic expecting the car to stop. People don’t do that in most other places because they don’t want to risk becoming ground beef, but if you honestly want to pretend you’re NYC and “you’re just walkin here,” or whatever, I’m trying to warn you that there are a lot of transplants who might accidentally run your dumbass over because A) we’re not used to pedestrians not understanding that stepping in front of a vehicle moving at 30mph will destroy you, and B) aren’t intrinsically programmed to watch for arbitrary cross walks.

My whole point was being so concerned about it that it’s become a household joke.
