If you have ever worked with OPD in any extended professional capacity (you one time ride along kids need not apply), this should come as absolutely no surprise to you.

I watch them bait people who are suffering from mental illness, poverty, drug addiction, and homelessness, into altercations on a regular basis. The official report might say resisting arrest, but it doesn’t give any clue as to what that officer did leading up to the arrest.

Of the 15 or so officers I deal with regularly, only a couple are decent. There is also too much talk and anecdotal evidence among enough people to suggest OPD involvement in trafficking rings to ignore.
