Work Roth via ADP or Fidelity Roth?

No, before I just didn't realize there was a difference between Roth 401k and Roth IRA. I used to work for myself and contributed/maxed my own traditional IRA. I converted some of it to a Roth a few years ago when my income was lower so I've had the account for a while - just nothing has been going into it for quite a while.

Since I didn't realize the difference between the work Roth 401k and the Roth IRA I was considering stopping the work contributions and making only my own contributions into my Roth IRA. Now I know it counts towards my 18500 yearly limit with work pretax 401k and my Roth IRA allows me to add another 5500 (if I don't make over the limit).

Now I know I can do both which is clear now and have also googled for a bit more info so … now I know. Appreciate everyone's reply to what might seem like a dumb or basic question but just wasn't something I had thought much about before since I didn't contribute much to a Roth before.

And maybe I shouldn't have said infinite for Fidelity's choices but was implying I could invest there into pretty much anything I wanted to without the only choices being pretty much all fairly high expensed funds with the ADP choices (this is essentially what I was trying to figure out).
