Do we think ww3 is going to take off big or nah?

and it has an identity crisis.

Quite the opposite in fact.

Not only is WW3 way better than BF 2042 (a universal opinion that almost everyone agrees with), it has a perfect identity in the FPS world. The reason this game was so hyped even back in 2018 is because it was the only FPS that was half mil sim and half arcade. This game is unique. There's no other FPS like it. It's like Battlefield but significantly more tactical. It has the perfect "competitive" or "Esports" feel to it (and it will be an Esports title too according to the devs). This game has the best and most accurate real-world locations than any other FPS game on the market. It's got the perfect unique identity. The gunplay is insane. The customization is more extensive than any other FPS on the market.

And the devs have just confirmed loads more content, new maps (real locations), new modes and battle pass/skins that are currently in development. And unlike most of these other titles, the game is free.

There's a reason you're alone with your opinion, while the overwhelming majority are loving this game right now. This game will definitely blow up on release in my opinion, especially considering it's free. Hell, it has more potential than any other FPS, which is why I think that a big company/studio will snap it up once it releases, so it can be a full fledged AAA title.

WW3 is unique.
