x-post /r/cloudmaker - No refund policy for delayed pre order = arguable financial trouble for Cloudmaker

This is Dr. Jeff Berlin (medicinal chemist) former owner of eSquared Vape Boutique located in Maryland. I am a customer of Cloudmaker and order my mods from their website beginning July 1, 2015 expecting delivery of my first Whiteout DNA by August 15, 2015. Cloudmaker Technologies marketed themselves as a "crowdfunded" company interested in designing a modular vaporizer from user input. Their post on June 1st was show what appeared to be a finished product weeks aways from shipment. My experience has been that the following users are commonly found trolling the cloudmaker website and harassing/distracting/down voting any users (or customers) that voice concerns about cloudmaker the worst of them is tailbanner (known as the taliban terrorist), runebinder, mstave, inertiacreeping, farkmcbark, hugh_jass_clouds, iNach, and returnity. Any concerns regarding problems that are commonly brought up on the r/Cloudmaker sub will (usually) attract their immediate attention and the harassing begins. What results is banning of the user from the sub by the Cloudmaker mods (most likely) adding the username to the automod spam filter. Hugh_Jass_Clouds was kind enough to message me that the site is not a public forum and free speech is limited. Why are they able to use Reddit to run a censored private enterprise of self promotion, misdirection, and scamming (the quality of the products are in serious doubt)?

Please read the following statement: I have tirelessly invested in the evolution of vaping and continue to promote the quality in vaporizers and eliquid that government regulators would support (this is part of my expertise). Manufacturing products in the U.S. can be done and helps to maintain the standards that we (as Americans) agree on. It is important to the economic and social stability of America. When CMT was promoting their product to early adopters, the company was promoted as an AMERICAN company and not global. CMT constantly responds to customer concerns with "we are understaffed and everyone is working long, long hours". Global should not be something that CMT considers until they serve their local market in a responsible way. Frankly, I'm tired of vape companies producing inferior products and minimizing customer service to maximize profits. CMT is promoted as "crowd funded" which encourages "consumer input to steer the company development" but I don't see that. Hollow words. Where were the posts encouraging early adopters input on the whiteout that is being manufactured today? 14mm 510 connection... I think most users would say "hell no!". screws in the exterior?.... "hell no!". buttons that protrude?... "hell no!" manufactured in china "hell no!". whiteout dna 2 Ah USB charging "hell yes!". frankly, the device that Jeremy posted on Reddit in June that was used to sell early adopters (fit and finish) doesn't look like any of the photos we have viewed recently. Looks like the device was painted with a spray can. Aaron says that this company is not in it for the money... but CMT is already talking about "liquid labs". Solve one problem at a time. It is "crowdfunded" certainly the company should be worried about customer satisfaction. CMT should start listening to THE PEOPLE THAT FUNDED THIS STARTUP and deliver the product that was marketed when the company began taking orders. I have serious reservation that my orders will be delivered before the end of the year, that the mod will be safe and comfortable to operate, and that warranty problems will not be handled properly (mainly because of the small company and the manufacturing takes place in China...e.g. - Chinese customs does not allow import of vaporizers).
