Xeljanz is a miracle pill

What else have you tried? I had some issues with the mechanical function of the pens, but Humira wasn't that bad to deal with other than the fact that you need to keep it below 77 F. Not ideal but better than constantly sitting for an infusion, especially since you can just jab yourself instead of having to get a vein hooked up.

And yeah, my mom was leaning on me to do Remicaid again because of how quickly it worked last time around, but I'm really glad I insisted on trying Xeljanz first. Besides the obvious downsides of being stuck on an infusion schedule, I'm just really hard to get a needle/IV into. I've had so many miserable experiences because of this and I was absolutely dreading the prospect of getting stuck doing that for the rest of my life. It's bad enough having to deal with the IV when it's colonoscopy time--my usual trick is to guzzle water before having to do a blood draw, which you obviously can't do right before a colonoscopy, and what always happens is the nurses insisting on trying, followed by them realizing that I'm not just being a prima donna and getting the anesthesiologist to do it.
