A year in review: Overall, Xbox's 2021 has been one of its best years ever

Series X and S in our house are the best consoles Microsoft has ever made. Gamepass is incredible, I've played more small games or AA games on Gamepass this year than the big AAA stuff I bought. They are saying the right things and the future sounds incredible.

That all being said this felt like the best Xbox ONE year ever before we really kick off with new games, new IP's, and see what the other teams can make. It still felt very much like one of those XB1/End of 360 years where we get a really great Halo and a Forza game, then maybe something else but that is it (Age of Empires 4 I guess?).

Hoping the new generation gives us stuff like the first Gears of War, Mass Effect 1, AC, Dragon Age. We had so many new ideas in the 360 era it was really quite exciting. It's clear the EA's, Ubisoft's, and Activison of the world are content recycling the same shit year after year.

Hoping Microsoft with many studios and the power of Gamepass show us some cool risks like Redfall, Obsidian new game, Inexile new IP, Starfield of course, stuff like that has me most excited!
