I think the other side would argue Microsoft's acquisitions aren't comparable to anything else either. In a short span of time Playstation lost a lot of huge franchises. They'll never get another Doom, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, or Arkane game. And soon enough they'll never get another Overwatch, Diablo, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk, or Spyro game. And while this is likely years away, they probably lose Call of Duty at some point. Nothing like that has ever happened in gaming.

I'm sitting pretty with an Xbox and Game Pass. It's going to be damn nice. A lost quest and shop in a Harry Potter game? Lame, but No biggie. If I only had a Playstation? That would suck to lose all those games. I don't think the full effects will be felt for a few years though.
