On Flexa Prime slavery is legal, slaves that show promise are adopted into the Skulk, an academia where they can master their trade and upon graduation are free Reynards (Male) & Vixens (Female). Government: The Flexen have a Enlightened Monarchy called the Flexen Coherence. The Ruler of the Flexen Coherence is the Sovereign, the Fucshbau family has ruled the Flexens for over a 1000 years. The Current Sovereign is Constantine Fuchsbau. Federated: Flexen society is not federated per say, there is a council which advises the Sovereign. The counsel is elected into office by each district, but the final say lies with the Sovereign about rulings. If the Council deems the Sovereign mentally unfit they will take over as a ruling counsel until the next heir is of age. But only in extreme circumstances this occurs. Religion: Flexens believe that when they die they ascend to another plain of existence. There are not deities in Flexen culture. Research: On Flexa Prime there are the three institutes, The Institute of Psychics (IOP), The Institute of Society (IOS) & The Institute of Engineering (IOE). The current Sovereign has funded the Psycis Institute more over the others. Weaponry: The Flexen Defense Force (FDF) uses energy beam weaponry. Ship Design: FDF ships are similar in design to Vulcan Star-ships from Star trek, but the Flexen design is less smooth & more angular. FDF colours are Orange and White, the same as the Flexen Coherence's colours. FTL: Flexen's use Warp drives to traverse the Galaxy, but a joint project between the IOP & the IOE could have a break through in the near future that could to Wormhole travel.
