25 yo pizza delivery man runs into burning house, saves four children who tell him another might be in the house. He goes back in, finds the girl, jumps out a window with her, and carries her to a cop who captures the moment on his bodycam

We don't know how often this person donates money. It could be quite often. They could be donating a lot more than most people do or ever will in their lifetimes. Altogether it could be a much higher percentage of their wealth than what most people give.

Also, net worth is not the same as actual cash. That's not to say that Ackman doesn't have fuck you money, but we also don't know their finances. And along those lines, you don't continue having fuck you money by blowing it all every chance you get which is surprisingly easy to do. That's why most people who win a lotto or Powerball end up bankrupt within a few short years.

I'm just saying that this entire argument is probably kind of silly. The premise is flawed because it's based on net worth not on actual income, we know next to nothing about how often they donate or give money, we also don't even know whether this is even the right person or not, etc. There's a lot of things to consider here.

Or we could just... you know. Not look a gift horse in the mouth.
