Look, In 2016 they announced "no beta this year" in September. They would have done the same this time too. Signups, NDA's and everything else is just speculation.

"Signups" was just an obviously off the cuff response to a question nobody knew the answer to in the GI interview.

NDA's aren't happening. Period. Full stop. Nobody has suggested theyll be a thing, because they wont be a thing. So there won't be whatever you imagine them needing weeks advance notice for, because they won't be a thing. Nobody publicly announces something just to lock it down with an NDA. If you don't want something to be disclosed, you don't put it on the cover of Game Informer.
