Nah, those were actually funny and creative in their own way, at least partially. They were also original aside from the character design, so an argument could be made for it being well within the bounds of fair use.

I don't care about all the remakes though and I want memey content and recreations to have a dedicated filter. I just don't see why you'd use the least obscure character to make a shoddy game you won't update anyway. I do appreciate that imitating something popular can be an easier entry point, but then again... nah.

Also thanks at everyone who just spent time with their dollar store microphones to rip entire song libraries so Mm decided to castrate the recording functionality even more than it already was, that was a great move by the community! Almost as great as people re-using the same songs all the time, half of which are kinda bad midi remixes of, once again, protected songs and popular game tunes.

I definitely am in favor of heavily disincentivizing all that stuff.
