Another crash against the blast door rang through the bridge, as the walls were shaking apart. He didn't know if the doors would hold, but he stood with his back to them all the same. Chaos everywhere. Alarms, shouting, sweat pouring from pores. "Could it end here?" he thought. Silence. The crew held their breath, looking, watching, waiting. With a piercing shrill of trembling agony the walls blew inward and horrors of distant stars rushed through. Hi I'm Kyle, 26 6'0'', I like education. Our solar system and star was created billions of years ago from the collapse of a molecular cloud floating through nowhereville, Milky Way. Our planet followed soon after, with chemicals and water and primordial soup. Single cell became multicell and poof here we are today with smartphones and stock markets. I'm finishing grad school here in phoenix studying tupac, with a side of intl. business, as I see how many cops I can outrun driving uber. I'm heavily addicted to soccer and might sell my soul to play it. I like music, and animals and stuff. Oh and games, catan, chess, risk, and pretty much everything else. My mom's 3rd generation irish immigrant, and my dad's side is german/english/french we think. I see kids wearing pokemon characters like pikachu on their shirts, and I really wonder, is it as amazing to today's kids as it was to us back then? When I was like, 11, entire summer camps of kids my age would do nothing but talk and play pokemon. It was the coolest thing ever, a tv show, catch em all, actually being able to "catch" them in card form. All a kid could dream for. But that was when it was brand new, and they're still making it work 15 years later? I can't decide if the whole concept/story/characters are so superficial they can be repeated so literally over the years, or are the japanese actually trying to take over the world one pikachu shirt at a time?
