Yeah. You really gotta just play what you want to play. When I kick someone's ass with my weird simic control deck it just feels good. Yes, I do have six mana open on your turn after tapping out on my turn. Yes, I did just [[Blink of and Eye]] my [[Frilled Mystic]] to counter your turn. Yes, I do have two more in hand off of Tamiyo, and yes you have to stare at them (I actually flip them in my hand in paper so they have to look at them) in my hand and realize you just aren't getting back into this game, because I'm just going to start looping them with Tamiyo or Blink of an Eye. Though, I don't imagine its any more fun for the opponent than Esper control at that point.
