Sports is a constant in my life. Because my parents had difficulty finding employment, I moved a ton when I was little; I have always found refuge in sports. My favorite sports teams (in no particular order) are the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Phillies, San Francisco 49ers, and Liverpool. I also enjoy the outdoors; I have an adventurous side. I plan to do a cross-country road trip one day to hike all the National Parks.

I am currently a medical student in Virginia with hopes of becoming a practicing physician in underserved areas like rural or inner-city areas, giving it back to my roots. My main priority in life right now is to get a good education. It is my ticket out of my low socioeconomic standing and will allow me to serve others for the rest of my life. I hope to pay it forward by being able to give the best possible care to my patients and my community. It is a dream I hold near and dear to my heart. If you happen to be a millionaire philanthropist, I would love an opportunity to apply for a scholarship that goes to my school to defray my tuition!

+ If you have an unlocked or T-Mobile smartphone laying around (used phone). I really need one. Windows Phone, Android, or iOS - it does not matter.

Should you be creative: I would prefer something that I can use long-term than just once (e.g. food, movie ticket). That way your gift can live on forever. I would appreciate that. I don't want anything personalized to my name or books (I have a library card, but book suggestions are welcome!).
