Should I call myself a Wordpress Virtual Assistant? Or Wordpress Maintenance Services? Or something else?

I'm going to be nice Flo, in case you're not who I think you are.

BTW.....I'm the one who called for the community to chime in...(so I do actually have a heart).

I just think in so many words you need to seriously apply yourself in a much GREATER capacity.

I like frontenben's advice to you but carefully listen to what he said and to me to like (get the F to work)!

What I mean is that he really set you straight and gave you some great feedback.

But I'm still concerned about your understanding things and applying yourself.

Freelance is fine, but is it sustainable...not so much!

Positioning yourself as a subcontracted partner is better (i.e. start somewhere with a small agency and grow with them as they give you work - show you can do small stuff and continually handle more and more responsibility - but you must start your own agency too so they can properly 1099 you and you're seen as a legitimate business by the gov and yourself).

What frontendben said though and he speaks from experience, as do I, if you want to make it, then go to agencies interviewing as a "Junior Front End Developer" ..............that's regular work!!!

Freelance..................good luck with that!!!

So it's either get hired as a "Junior Front End Developer" or start your own LLC and get subcontracted work from small agencies.

Frontendben said earlier in an potentially unseen post that people over state themselves a lot..... i.e everyone's an expert and everyone knows everything when it's simply not true.

With you it's a case of downplaying yourself like crazy and not fully applying yourself............ I can't stand it!!!

Frontenben says "Junior Front End Developer" and basically go be honest with people, and don't underestimate or overestimate yourself (they will appreciate the honesty - because everybody else comes in lying - that they are so skilled when they are not - he even said he would hire you if he was one of those agencies) you have to communicate very clearly that you are dedicated and will do whatever it takes, and that while you are at a certain level today, your are expanding the depth and skill of your craft, and are looking for the right agency to grow with, while taking care of whatever they need!!!

So go to ALL of agencies (thoroughly researching them first and their work - so when you go in they can be a natural synergy - because you know so much about their work already - tell them that you researched them and what you found and what you liked and why you chose them to reach out to them) and ask for an in-house "Junior Front End Developer" position..... NOT FREELANCE, and/or start your own agency offering subcontract work for small (2-4 person) agencies, stating that you're looking for the right, fast growing firm, to partner up with on work, and as it goes well, you will just continue to grow together, as a winning team!

Tell them that it wouldn't be an official partnership legally, past the subcontracted work, but you use the word "partnership" because you're looking to build a long lasting relationship and be someone that they can count on!!

That's my 2 Cents and seriously in my own AHole Tough Love Avenger Style Words....

Be Responsible By Accepting New Responsibilities & Get The F To Work - You Little Freak!!!
