8+1 and it still hasn’t set in. Not sure this is healthy?

This is normal imo! I know it can be a bummer not to be a glowing effervescent fertility goddess from day 1, but I felt the same way my first pregnancy. It feels like something is happening to you and you’re along for the ride. All that will change when the baby is here! I didn’t think I was very maternal during pregnancy, but nope, I am! The hormones prepare you and it’s a whole journey. But this pregnancy I’m trying to focus on actually not thinking too much about it on purpose. Not wondering how I should feel or what can go wrong. Women for millennia have been having lots of kids and pregnancy was just mundane. I think that’s a totally normal and natural way to feel and is no reflection on your readiness or mothering capabilities ❤️
