For this build I fit in the 600T like you wanted, and you ended up with an FX 8350 and a single GTX 970. Almost perfect $800, and you still get a 128GB SSD plus the 1TB

As for monitors, I'd always recommend a 144hz monitor. The AOC G2460PG is what I have, and it's great monitor for the price.
