97% Owned (2012) - A documentary explaining how money is created, and how commercial money supply operates.

That verification is not possible. Those who benefit will always denounce this kind of doubt without sufficient consideration. Those who suffer will always exaggerate the problems inherent to the economic system. Those between, who neither benefit greatly nor suffer considerably, will always blindly pick one side or simply conclude that they don't understand enough to weigh in.

It's much better to form the conclusion that the world works as it always has. Some will see fabulous success with little effort, some will toil their entire lives without catching any kind of break.

While I can't tell you how to resolve the conflict for yourself, considering the larger scale of society, I can tell you how to resolve it for yourself on the personal scale. The way that you define success, and the goals you set yourself are key.

For example, if you begin life the child of a minimum wage laborer and make it your goal to become truly wealthy, then statistics say that you will most likely fail. Similarly, if you begin life the child of somebody wealthy and think they you understand the plight of the poor or working classes, then you're a fool and everyone thinks you're an idiot.

Instead of either, simply evaluate your starting point and determine according to your values what you may realistically understand and achieve. For example, if you begin life the child of a minimum wage laborer and you set the goal that you will own a home that your child can fall back to in their early adulthood, then you have a chance to succeed. If you're born the child of somebody truly wealthy, and you set the goal to preserve the wealth for the next generation, then you can succeed.

Your goals may not revolve around your offspring. That's only an example. But the bottom line is, you can not understand the worldview of those in a class different from your own, and the expectations you place upon yourself must be realistic with consideration for your starting point.
