Saw a related post on /r/dogs, man, this is some sad shit, abandoning those who can't even ask why.

I want to get a golden retriever, but I won't do it not for atleast 4 more years, because i know if i get one now, it wouldn't be fair for him/her and not even for my family who will end up taking care of the dog now (researched a lot about it in free time - they need atleast an hour exercise daily), so, i'll wait till i get settled in my job and as planned, will have free time accordingly.

I do not understand how can people adopt a dog just beacuse he/she looks cute, and once they grow up, then they aren't so, so they just abandon them, the fuck?

Also, reading this thread, i also do not understand how can someone in here is talking about going on mass euthanisation of stray dogs, if you can't help their situation get any better leave it to govt to deal with it or any other person who might find it in their heart to help them. Euthanising your own dog is one thing, but going on sort of a killing spree is just way wrong, something has to be fucked up inside of you to think so, when people confront such situations tears well up in their eyes while you're standing there thinking about such horrible thing done to them, well hell with being politically correct, fuck you buddy for even thinking so.
