about the new live action Mulan movie

Well you do realize the reason it comes down to more than just "let's make it all Chinese people" right?

First of all, due to the fact that Chinese people are a minority to Hollywood already means there aren't very many people to choose from compared to the white population.

Second, more goes into it than just race. They have auditioning for voice overs in animated films just like they have auditions for every other show/movie ever made. As I said before, the chances of a white person getting the role are a lot bigger simply due to the fact that there are more of them. They pick the people that are best at making connections with the characters they portray and actually being able to have a lot of voice inflection to keep the audience entertained.

Sure, they could have an entire cast be "racially correct", but that means their options are limited. You're going to get a lot of B-list and C-list celebrities. You're going to get people who are just starting out and talk as boring as Kristen Stewart.

You can't blame them for trying to get the best people they can find to make the best movie they can.

Also the whole thing about Asian women still being a fetish a Hollywood, blame the rest of the country. It's all about demand. Blame the normal people all across the countries for being the one demanding it.
