Abuse of the system, and no alternative for the customer

Well it's not just the carrier, it's also the facility. They didn't give me all of the information when I went there, I'm fairly young and have never had to deal with the post office before like this. How am I to know that the post office can't hold my mail if no one tells me, especially when I go in and explain the situation to them and they still fail to inform me?

The dog and mailbox is my fault, the incomplete and misguided information was the employees fault. Unfortunately for me though... there is absolutely nothing I can do if the mail carrier decides to stop delivering mail (even after the mailbox is installed) or loses an uninsured package (this one was insured).

It has to get so bad that the federal court has to step in like workers straight up stealing items before anything can be done or changed or addressed especially with our post office who seems very eager to get anyone they have off the phone. They're rude cutting you off before you get done speaking, getting short with you for not knowing something, and straight up lying to me (postmaster said that there would be a female stand-in while he was away that I could contact anywhere from 8am till 3pm. and the girl I spoke to on the phone said "he's in a meeting" cutting me off as I asked if there was another time he'd be available today with a chewing gum slap of her lips "no")... before this experience I had no problems with the post office. But they're just bad employees I guess?
