Maybe not but it still doesn't change the fact that they continue to do so. "Just following orders" and "propaganda" isn't a good enough excuse especially now. They can quit. Nobody is holding a gun to their head in fact they're the ones armed the guns, clubs, other military equipment, and fucking tear gas.

I do. I definitely do blame the people who support the police as well but at the very least I expect people on this sub to blame individual cops as well as the larger system.

At least part of our job, as people who have seen past the propaganda, should be moving these and other people who are constantly lied to away from those lies.

Personally, I’d rather just state that I don’t think the police need to exist rather than say a buzzword that makes the average person view you as a joke or make moral judgments about individual cops.

The individual cops don't deserve the moral judgement for the reasons I already stated. As for education sure it is good to educate others but again as I already said this is a shitpost sub. Even if the memes hit the frontpage you can't expect users to limit their posts on the offchance it'll offend somebody who is unaware.
