After 3 years D Magazine releases another top 100 Best Restaurants In Dallas

Again? Out of all the AMAZING Vietnamese places, they pick Pho is for Lovers?

La Me and Pho Bang are some of the best.

La Me is the best for broken rice and vermicelli out of any other Viet place I've been to.

It's so upsetting to have such diverse cuisine in the metro and yet they pick trendy places the most that may look nice but don't have much soul or represent a variety of the cultures that live here. It's more of a list for yuppies.

My favorite places I repeat visit: Joy Kitchen, La Me, Udipi, Chameli, Sichuan Folk, Pupuseria Los Gemelos, La Hacienda Chichen - Itza (great tortas and have been in business for 40 years; they bake their own sweets and bread), Indo Pak Market for their chicken 65.

I've been to some of the places on that list. They never gave me that need to return to eat more, except maybe the burger and beer at Meddlesome Moth.

Unless 360 has changed, it was underwhelming. My grandpa made better Thai curry sauce than they did. They also overcooked the octopus to the point it was rubbery.
