same, friend, same. whenever i mention it i always get people disagreeing. like, am i supposed to hate myself? i'm sorry? it's all subjective. i adore my transness but i absolutely understand my experience is unique so can y'all like, just, respect that? please? i'm not harming anyone.

i will note, as someone who has been super involved in the community lately, that there's a culture among younger trans folx of "the more you hate yourself, the more trans you are". i challenge that idea, and maybe some people aren't ready to confront their feelings on that (or other ideas related to their transness) so they attack me instead. it saddens me.
