Alabama rape victim committed suicide after being ‘bullied’ by police protecting wealthy alleged attacker

It’s the entire world. Not just indigenous to one state. The cheap excuse would be to blame and “expect” such behavior from Alabama because of stereotypes. So many times I read comments insulting Alabama no matter the context, yet the university has more OUT OF STATE students than in state. That number (56%) is only trending to keep going up. Students are coming from ALL across the country to spend their golden college years at “decades behind” ALABAMA. I seriously doubt anyone leaving negative comments have even toured the campus. It’s incredible to say the least. Everyone put the stereotypes away. Some of the most money, the most educated, the most pretentious people comes from the south. The real issue here is not being able to fully put your trust in law enforcement if you are not filthy rich. Some moving parts are obviously broken in the systems we have in place. The conversation needs to be about fixing this issue we ALL share. It shouldn’t be dismissed based simply on location. IMO.
