Yea, from what I'm learning based on responses Lucerne is available in some more stores but they all have the same issue as Jewel where they seem to think they provide high end quality thus charge high end prices.

Aldi is nice but I've found lately Target is keeping up with them, even cheaper on some of the items I'm buying. I'm not sure if that will help you though, boonies having a Target seems to be hit or miss. my town used to be the boonies but it's been seeing a lot of development lately. We have TWO Aldis now! And we have Meijer, Walmart, dollar stores, Target, Kroger, Jewel, Im probably forgetting some corpo grocery stores still. We used to just have corn fields and Walmart, lol. Before these days grocery stores could get away w more predatory pricing around here because there wasn't much competition. :(
