Yo, im a pvp player only, but this wasnt always the case for me. When i first started playing SoT I spent ALOT of time grinding PVE to level up all factions to the point where I just got completely bored of it and I just can't do it anymore; Its just to tidious for me because I already know the types of AI enemies I will face; I know every animation/dialogue they have because Ive experienced it so many times before. When I started PVPing I realised theres a whole new aspect of the game that I hadnt really experienced and for me it reignited the love for the game. IMO, theres nothing more fun than sweaty PVP fights where all crews give their best and dont really care about the loot they have. I now play SoT for this experience alone and the PVE part of the game just doesnt make sense anymore. I only sell stolen treasure and never farm any myself and thats how I'll play untill this game dies.

I shared all this only to tell you that IMO, you are wrong; and making PVE only servers will change everything for everyone. I would personally stop playing because there would be no point in playing. Sinking unaware/new players as a more experienced one is part of the game and should be treated as such. The same amount of fun you and your friends get when fighting skelly ships and forts I get when I sail by and sink unaware/new players and get all their hard worked loot. You said you don't want PVP players in your sessions, but did you think that maybe PVP players want players like you in theirs? I mean I know I would :D ; I would steal from anyone and I don't even need loot/gold anymore; I would just do it for the fun of it, and knowing that the player I stole from gets upset and maybe even frustrated... That just makes my day better; No regrets whatsoever

After all is just virtual loot in a virtual game and if you cannot cope with that then maybe MULTIPLAYER games are just not for you. Maybe you should focus on singleplayer games or exclusive co-ops instead, where you can set your prefered difficulty at the start of the game and fight only against AI.
