Of all the cars you've owned, which was your favorite and which one did you hate most?

Favorite: 2001 Accord Euro R. Fun, practical, reliable, cheap to run, and quick without being fast enough to get a new driver in too much trouble. It was my first car and I absolutely loved it, I drove it to school whenever I could, I packed it full of mates and road tripped it, I tracked it, I took it down some really shit gravel roads, and it took it all in its stride. Unfortunately thieves also loved it. It got stolen in 2009 and I still miss it.

Least favorite: 1999 Accord station wagon. I bought this car for $800 after my old Accord was stolen. It was the same generation, but was a base model with a 140hp 2.3 (compared to 220hp 2.2 in the old one) and a really shitty 4 speed auto (compared to a sweet 5 speed manual). It had a hard life before I got to it, it was completely dinged up on the outside, the interior was ripped and stained and smelled of stale ass, the fluids were all well on their way to turning into tar, but it was cheap and it ran and no one in their right mind would steal it so I bought it. It was just completely uninteresting to drive and thanks to a lifetime of neglect and abuse at the hands of a terrible driver (judging by the huge number of dents and scrapes on the outside) there were always minor things going wrong with it. By far the biggest fault however was the transmission. It was complete garbage. It shifted slow (there was about a 3 second delay between me asking it to change gear and the next gear engaging), shifted rough, shifted up way too early and then refused to shift down unless my foot was flat on the ground so I had to drive it in manual mode, and was in desperate need of another gear. I'm sure a lot of these problems were amplified by the lack of maintenance, but this transmission is the same one that's infamous for blowing up at around 120,000 kms (75,000 miles) when attached to the V6. It spent the last of its days with a whole bunch of jerry rigged repairs because I didn't want to spend any money on it including a junk yard Prelude radiator that was held in with zip ties because it didn't quite fit, until the transmission started slipping a lot and I lost second gear with 140,000 (87,000 miles) on the odo.
