The annoying thing about PHIL1290 is that it’s taught by so many professors and none of them have the same syllabus so you can have a group saying it’s the easiest course ever and have another complaining about the coursework. My friend (who had a different professor) and I compared the work we were doing in PHIL1290 and they didn’t even do half the things we did and their prof mainly focused on analyzing arguments/validity/truth tables which were the easy parts. Our prof focused more on logic/math/diagramming arguments and our tests were significantly harder than other classes. I took it with Patrick Walsh and if you look through his ratings on rate my prof, you’ll see a couple people saying the same thing. Just look at the ratings on rate my prof for professors and you should be fine.
