Am I being too cute? Keeper League Question.

That's one dirty team you got there. Here's my input. I'm big on runningbacks.

I agree with you on Bell specially cause how his year ended. I am slightly concerned by his td output because that's the main reason he wasn't putting up rb1 numbers until week 11. He had been supplementing his output with his pass-catching which is why Charles was so damn good 2013 (with 7 receiving tds). Steelers hopefully stick to gameplanning towards him in the red zone but you gotta keep in mind that they have Brown and a second year Bryant as options.

Charles slipped this year. People were saying a good chunk of his line leaving was gonna cause this, but he was still considered a top three pick. Unless the Chiefs plug up their line and get help with receivers (Andy Reid won't fully utilize Kelce with Smith as his qb), I would stay away from him. He's going to be 28 and you can only carry your team so long before you slow down and get hurt (and he's got history).

Second keeper wise, there's almost always two qbs that do super well and then the next five put out similar amount of points. I want to also say I'm biased because I usually don't draft qbs until 5th or 6th round. Two years ago it was along the lines of vick (which turned into Foles), Romo, Ryan. This past year was Wilson and Brady. I see no reason to gamble on that top tier when you can have ODB. He won't digress like Keenan Allen. He's the focal point of McAdoo's offense. Cruz hasn't produced since 2012 when he popped out of nowhere. ODB was drafted by McAdoo as he was seen as the perfect fit for his scheme. Eli loves him and will chuck it up to him every chance he gets. Even with a season of tape, defenses will be hard pressed to shut him down. That's coming from an Eagles fan.

Assuming you have until the draft to decide keepers. I would basically keep tabs on oline/wr moves by Chiefs, Cobb staying with Packers to make the final call.
