thanks, i‘m definitely going to go with the iphone. there are three of us. my brother is going to be in the video. i am trying to make a basic short video instead of a self tape to send to talent agents. (i’ll try and if it doesn’t work will resort to the traditional self-tape monologue)

was planning on shooting 2-3 minutes. shoot a few different scenes and hire an editor to edit the video, add a few sound effects and background music (i’m assuming i obviously won’t do as good as a pro).

i’m in a really small town so i won’t be able to rent anything. is there a good mic i can buy?

is an iphone shotgun mic ok?
