Am I considered Trans or a Crossdresser?

Transgender and transsexual are two different things. Transsexual refers to how you see your sex. Transgender refers to how you see your gender. Woman doesn’t mean female. There are AIS women with XY chromosomes who were born with a vagina. If you were assigned (assumed) male at birth and you identify as a woman (you can’t really identify as female if you are male because female refers to physical characteristics etc, not identity), then you are transgender. If you were assigned male at birth and identify as a guy, you’re cisgender. Male at birth and non binary = transgender by definition because transgender only means that you identify with anything other than your assigned birth sex/gender.

Transsexuals usually have a feeling of being in the wrong body. Certain characteristics feel wrong and they have a discomfort with their body which can be alleviated with hrt or and surgeries.

If you’re talking about wanting the body of the “opposite” sex, you’re most likely a transsexual. Something you were probably born as. Transsexuals are trans, so yes. You’re trans. If you have no desire to change your sex characteristics and you see yourself as a man and you just like wearing women’s clothes, you are a cross dresser. Whatever socially constructed labels you want to attach to yourself, as long as you are happy, nothing else matters. Just do you.
