I am living a housing nightmare

Then I understand your viewpoint better, this is just about the richest country in the world, if you think its normal to live on canned tuna and pay 6000 for a sleeping spot on a sofa, then you definitely aren't from Denmark.

We pay between 140 and 190 an hour depending on the job type. Definitely not a superb living wage, but it should be enough to rent a small flat and eat fresh foods.

There was a whole program about the terrible living conditions experienced by immigrant workers, maybe you should look it up. Its not unusual to pay 4-5, thousand to stay in a flat with 10 people, and I'm sure some foreigners here in this thread can confirm it.

I sound like a sour person for sympathising with people in a worse position than myself? Sounds to me like you got treated like shit, and now you want others to suffer like you suffered.
