Amazon workers strike in the US and 30 other countries on Black Friday in global 'Make Amazon Pay' campaign

Here's how strikes work:

How will Amazon get work done without workers? They can't - depending on the amount of work Amazon needs done, they have to hire people to do it - if they don't customers aren't gonna' get their purchases.

Workers demand proper wages and not literal starvation scraps that require them to be on food stamps to get by.

Laying off people doesn't solve the "we need workers" issue.

Offering a competitive hourly wage does, however, attract workers.

A strike is collective bargaining saying "we think our work is worth this much" but because Amazon is negotiating with all of them at once, Amazon cannot get away with shady individual negotiation tactics or trying to make workers undercut one another in wage demands.
