Let's castback to a great depression. US is falling. Then US finds out new source of money, war. War is huge profit for those, who sell guns, equipment and ammunition.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised that many wars including US were started by US just for profit. Citizens are used to buy ton of guns like there is no tomorrow which brings me to gun violence. Only reason why it wouldn't be banned is money. Who cares about children in school and random people on street when you can have that $$$.

At this point I see uncle Sam as Dutch from RDR2. "We just need more money!"

Gun violence and wars aren't at stop, because it's huge business.
