For some reason this entire subreddit is on a high horse about homelessness while they sit in their $1.5M Nob Hill mansion.

Gonna have to disagree there. This sub is super fickle about when to call a spade. One day it's a post for awareness and compassion and the next it's a comment defending beating someone to death over stealing a can of chili.

I'm all about the median at this point. We have total pieces of shit in my hood and I'm thankful that most of us are being moderate and educated in that regard.

This sub isn't a good measure of the reality of Portland so deff take it with a grain of salt. I live in the Brooklyn hood and he have a fair share of manipulative actors - like the lady with one leg who sits in the Powell/Milwaukee intersection.

That being said, it takes some research and interaction to know who's who.
