I’m sorry for the horrible addiction experiences you had with substances. I’m glad to hear you have recovered from that and it’s truly a big feat. That’s the real takeaway from this post and anything else that follows below is moot.

Here’s what I have to say regarding Wubby: Has anyone noted that Wubby has gambled on stream numerous times? Notably blackjack, but also slots and other casino games. He has stated he would do a poker stream in the past (around when gambling controversy and ban happened in twitch). This argument that he is promoting gambling and addictive behavior is nothing new. He also drinks on stream constantly. We aren’t that influenced y’all, if you have an issue with drinking and Wubby is taking shots don’t drink. If you have an issue with gambling and Wubby and plating poker don’t engage. Wubbys appeal has always been he’s not inhibiting himself- like comedians don’t censor themself (not saying Wubby is a comedian but the allegory is right there cmon). Wubby has always been in the edge of entertainment which is why I (and presumably many others) love him for it.
