Anyone else think this is fucked up?

THIS. My dude knows I don't like Impossible meats. He comes to me and feeds me a piece of weird kind of chicken-like crap. It didn't taste terrible, but I'd never choose it for myself. I doubted it was meat immediately. He asks if I like it, and I shrug. As I'm about to tell him my opinion, he pops off. Starts celebrating that he found a fake meat I liked. He was rubbing it in my face before I even had a chance to swallow the faux-meat.

I was so angry. 1. Never once said I liked it. 2. In fact, he was celebrating before I even answered, which pissed me off, and 3. I felt sort of betrayed. It's like he had no respect for my likes and dislikes, and only cared about being right. I told him so, he apologized and let it go. Told me he feels like a dick about it. He should, too. It comes off as superior, as if I'm too stupid to know what I actually like, and I need him to tell me.

No matter the reason, unless it's your children or dependents we're talking about here, you do not get a say in another person's diet. Forcing arbitrary things on people in order to feel right only pushes those people away.
