Is anyone else here heterophobic, particularly towards men?

All my friends are straight males and I sort of carry this sentiment but I ignore it.

Sometimes I even get pissed off when I hear people pretending to be really Liberal; like in the last election in Canada, because half the people saying those progressive things also still use words like "fag, no homo, gay"...etc as negatives(regardless of your intent you don't know how other people who hear that are going to interpret it it is irresponsible to willingly say things you know may actually make someone feel isolated/alienated, I'm not anti-Semitic and you don't hear me saying thats "jewish" to refer to cheap things).

It annoys me to see people being SJW's when I know they said some homophobic shit even if it was when they're younger I can't get over it.

I also can't seem to forget about all the awful shit my friends and family have said about being gay.

Sister told me I ruined the family when I came out.

Brother still says "fag" and "gay. Same with sister.

My Dad made gay jokes growing up.

All of my friends and some of them still do use homophobic slurs.

Teachers in school said homophobic slurs.

We are still mocked in the media.

Blah blah blah, yes I agree, it just pissed me off right now.

I admire people that don't let it bother them, they honestly have some sound self control I need to learn to have.

I cannot name the amount of times I've wanted to just call someone a homophobe even if the conversation has nothing to do with homosexuals because they are saying some super "inclusive, multicultural" crap.

I can't explain it, but the atmosphere in Canada is very "open" and lets protect minorities and not be racist/bigotted, but everyone that is spreading these words at one point used to make homosexuals lives miserable / continue to say homophobic shit. This really bothers me, it can't be put into words properly, but there is this feeling I get from it that really makes me mad.
