I was obsessed with lupe when this record was dropping and am more of a alt rap type guy but have some love for some more mainstream dudes so I can get down to that sound. Lupe is great on this record I'll admit, but the plasticine production of the electro pop sound they went for is not a good look for lupe (well idk, maybe it's actually good and I just don't like that type of pop music which sucks because it has become the norm) and the hooks are like they hired songwriters but only gave them a portion of their fee and didn't care if they gave them low tier stuff they were never gonna use.

The hook on words I never said is alright. What ever happened to Skyler gray and how do you end up on major label releases like she was without ever really having a career?
