Anyone else holding out for a Direct announcement tomorrow?

What do you think?

Silence is a virtue. Some people feel the need to constantly talk to fill the void, but sometimes it's best to wait.

I mean, even if we do get a Direct, so much of this stuff is wish fulfillment. For instance, there is rumors of Metroid games being in development, so if we don't get them there will undoubtedly be people talking about how the Direct was lame or what have you.

The same goes for E3. They have plenty of current things to detail (Arms, Switch features, Hey! Pikmin) and future things (Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem Warriors) where there is no telling if this Direct or E3 will have anything else. Since, again, this isn't about wanting a Direct as much as Nintendo confirming Smash for Switch, Pokemon Stars, the Metroid games and so forth.

But, to get to the point, no amount of posts here going "geez, I sure hope Nintendo makes my dreams come true" will change things or make anything better. In some cases it's worse since the more some people see/hear something, the more they believe it to be real. It's so bad that some people act like Pokemon Stars is real, coming this year and will be all these other things, when all we have some rumors by dubious sources.
