I changed from pixel 3a to the 12 mini. On the day that I smashed my pixel, the mini was my best option so that what I ended up with ( I don’t have an alternative phone so needed to replace it immediately for safety reasons). It hasn’t been an easy transition at all. The camera, FaceTime and Apple music are fabulous - crystal clear visuals and sound respectively. Everything else seems creaky and idiosyncratic and weird. Like - why can’t I install the updates using cell phone data ?( I have hundreds of gig of cell phone data and no access to wifi) Why are the notifications so inconvenient? Why is Safari and Apple maps so lame? Why is Siri so hit and miss? Why can’t I adjust text size by just pinching and the whole screen adjusts around it (my eyes deteriorate when I eat sugar - yes I know thank you - so I need larger fonts sometimes). So much of it seems antiquated
